	Dr.Sowby has been practicing optometry in the community for decades. He is a nationally known, award-winning author with over 50 professional papers published in 27 countries. He has given over 50 professional speeches at local state and national optometric conventions. He has been President of local San Fernando Valley Optometric Association. He has also served as an officer in the American Optometric Association. He has been active in local civic and church affairs and has been a member of the local Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years. He was responsible for the free screenings of over 5,000 seniors and school children in Burbank.
	Dr. Lori Nishida-Eugenio is a native Californian who graduated from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 1992. Her post doctoral training in vision development and vision therapy led to her attain the highly regarded board certified Fellowship in 2008. Dr. Nishid-Eugenio has a passion for working with children. This stems from her life's experience with her own four children, who range in ability from gifted to special needs. She also enjoys seeing adults and holds the highest level of certification in California in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. Dr. Nishida-Eugenio volunteers her optometric services in several programs, including the MEND Clinic, serving low income residents in Pacoima; InfantSee, providing free eye exams to infants six months to one year of age to promote early preventative eye exams; the California Vision Foundation, providing free eye exams to low income families in California; and the Noon Lions Club vision screenings. Dr. Nishida-Eugenio is active in several professional organizations; American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Optometric Extension Program, College of Optometrists in Vision Development and San Fernando Valley Optometric Society (SFVOS). She has been on the SFVOS Board of Directors for the past 6 years and currently serves as.
	Dr. Simms has been practicing in the Magnolia Park Media District of Burbank for over 30 years. Following his honorable discharge as a Naval Officer stationed at the Norfolk Naval Hospital, Dr. Simms has lectured on contact lenses and more recently on Lasik co-management. Dr. Simms has a close working relationship with Advanced Vision Correction Center as a consultant on Lasik surgery and has co-managed over 1000 patients.
